The vinyl of Fogo Fogo's album "Nha Rikeza" hits the stores in July and, to mark the date, the band will be at O Bom O Mau & O Vilão, in Lisbon, on the 6th for a commented listening and conversation with Fogo Fogo and friends, moderated by João Mineiro. Soon after, the party continues with a DJ set by Rádio Cacheu and João Gomes. The event will start at 9.30pm and admission is free.
About this celebration, Fogo Fogo say that "we're going to share Nha Rikeza's secrets; stories, curiosities, and anything else you want to ask. We'll also reflect on what it's like to have a band in 2024".
"Nha Rikeza" is Fogo Fogo's second original album (the successor to "Fladu Fla", highly acclaimed by the press and the public), comprising 13 songs including "Nhô Buli" ft. Ferro Gaita, "Um Casa Pa Morá" and "Chão Dançado". The songs are full of happy, danceable rhythms, combined with current issues and social criticism, confirming the band's talent and uniqueness.
